I've written three essays about various problems facing humanity, and my ideas for solving them.

I wrote these because I think the problems are urgent and my ideas - although not fully formed - are good. I also hope that the essays might spark interesting and fruitful discussions. To this end, dear reader, I make the following requests:

• Read the essays carefully, from start to finish.
• If you find something that's incomprehensible, vague, or poorly supported, let me know.
• I realize that some of my ideas seem impracticable. You're welcome to point this out, but if you do so please either
  • Explain why what I view as problems are not actually problems.
  • Propose a solution that you think will work better than the ones I propose, and explain why.
