Thu 14 Oct

Fly OAK to DIA. I resist the temptation to punch non-mask-wearer in nose. K. picks me up. Cleo is happy to see me; excessive licking of face.

Fri 15 Oct

Walk along river with K. Beautiful fall colors.

Littleton Symphony Orchestra concert (Beethoven Egmont Overture, slow mvt from Mozart concerto #23, Rhapsody in Blue, Borodin Polovsian Dances). Post-concert beer and pizza in downtown Littleton.

Sat 16 Oct

Meet Marc S. and talk for a couple hours, mapping the future of computers and music.

Drive to K.'s friend Marta's house near Allenspark, stopping in Parker to have beer and pizza with Rachel and Ethan.

House is nice but lots of moribund flies. Struggle with Prime Video interface, watch British baking show.

Sun 17 Oct

Hike to Sandbeach Lake (12 miles, 2000'). Snowy towards the top.

Drive home, stopping for Margarita ingredients at zombie-staffed liquor store.

Mon 18 Oct

Some soreness from hike. Tennis at local park.

Visit new Denver Meow Wolf. Neither of us sees the appeal.

Get ice craam at Whirligig in Jefferson Park area. Tour of free underpasses near Mile-High Stadium.

Tue 17 Oct

More tennis and a little pickleball. Some viola/piano.

Dinner at Japanese-type place.

Work on Noah Giant's cryptic crossword puzzle in airport.

Smooth flight, Seth picks me up.
